1 When, therefore, Jesus knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus makes and baptizes more disciples than John 2 (though Jesus did not baptize, but his disciples), 3 He left Judea, and went again into Galilee.

Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John

9 Then the Samaritan woman said to him: How can you, being a Jew, ask me to drink, since I am a Samaritan woman?

10 Jesus answered and said to her: If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee: Give me to drink, perhaps you would have asked of him, and he would have given you living water.

10 Иисус сказал ему в ответ: если бы ты знал дар Божий и кто говорит тебе: дай Мне пить, то, может быть, ты бы попросил его, и он дал бы тебе живую воду.
11 Dicit ei mulier : Domine, neque in quo haurias habes, et puteus altus est : unde ergo habes aquam vivam ?

13 Respondit Jesus, et dixit ei : Omnis qui bibit ex aqua hac, sitiet iterum ; qui autem biberit ex aqua quam ego dabo ei, non sitiet in æternum : 14 sed aqua quam ego dabo ei, fiet in eo fons aquæ salientis in vitam æternam.

Jesus answered and said to him: Whosoever shall drink of this water shall thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst. 14 But the water that I will give him will become a fountain of water springing up to life eternal.

17 The woman answered and said: I have no husband.

Dicit ei Jesus : Bene dixisti, quia non habeo virum ; 18 quinque enim viros habuisti, et nunc, quem habes, non est tuus vir : hoc vere dixisti.

Jesus says to him: You have said well, because I have no husband; 18 For you have had five husbands, and now the one you have is not your husband: you have truly said this.
Jesus answered her, "You are right in saying, 'I do not have a husband.' 18 For you have had five husbands, and the one you have now is not your husband. What you have said is true."
Иисус говорит ему: хорошо ты сказал, потому что у меня нет мужа; 18 Ибо у тебя было пять мужей, и ныне тот, который у тебя есть, не твой муж: истинно ты сказала это.
19 Dicit ei mulier : Domine, video quia propheta es tu.
19 The woman said to him: Lord, I see that you are a prophet.
19 Женщина сказала Ему: Господи, я вижу, что Ты пророк.
20 Patres nostri in monte hoc adoraverunt, et vos dicitis, quia Jerosolymis est locus ubi adorare oportet.

20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you say that Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.
Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain; but you people say that the place to worship is in Jerusalem.

21 Dicit ei Jesus : Mulier, crede mihi, quia venit hora, quando neque in monte hoc, neque in Jerosolymis adorabitis Patrem.

21 Jesus said to her: Woman, believe me, for the hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
21 Иисус сказал ей: женщина, поверь Мне, ибо наступает час, когда ты не будешь поклоняться Отцу ни на этой горе, ни в Иерусалиме.
22 Vos adoratis quod nescitis : nos adoramus quod scimus, quia salus ex Judæis est.

22 You worship what you know not; we worship what we know, because salvation is from the Jews.

24 God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and truth.
25 Dicit ei mulier : Scio quia Messias venit (qui dicitur Christus) : cum ergo venerit ille, nobis annuntiabit omnia.

25 The woman said to him: I know that the Messiah (who is called Christ) is coming: therefore when he comes, he will tell us everything.
26 Dicit ei Jesus : Ego sum, qui loquor tecum.

27 Et continuo venerunt discipuli ejus, et mirabantur quia cum muliere loquebatur.

28 The woman therefore left her pitcher, and went into the city, and said to those men: 29 Come, and see the man who told me all things that I have done: is he not the Christ?
28 Женщина же, оставив кувшин свой, пошла в город и сказала людям тем: 29 пойдите и посмотрите на человека, который рассказал мне все, что я сделала: Христос ли он?
30 Exierunt ergo de civitate et veniebant ad eum.

30 So they went out of the city and came to him.

34 Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of the one who sent me and to finish his work.

35 Nonne vos dicitis, 'Adhuc quatuor menses sunt, et messis venit ?'

Ecce dico vobis : levate oculos vestros, et videte regiones, quia albæ sunt jam ad messem.

Behold, I say unto you: lift up your eyes, and see the regions, for they are already white for the harvest. / I tell you, look up and see the fields ripe for the harvest.
36 Et qui metit, mercedem accipit, et congregat fructum in vitam æternam : ut et qui seminat, simul gaudeat, et qui metit.

36 And he that reaps receives a reward, and gathers fruit to eternal life, so that both the sower and the reaper may rejoice together.
36 И жнущий получает награду и собирает плод в жизнь вечную, так что сеющий может радоваться одновременно и жнущий.
37 In hoc enim est verbum verum : quia alius est qui seminat, et alius est qui metit.

37 For in this there is a true word: because there is one who sows, and another who reaps.
37 Ибо в этом есть истинное слово: потому что есть один сеющий, а другой жнёт.
38 Ego misi vos metere quod vos non laborastis : alii laboraverunt, et vos in labores eorum introistis.

38 I have sent you to reap that which you did not labor: others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.
I sent you to reap what you have not worked for; others have done the work, and you are sharing the fruits of their work.
38 Я послал тебя жать то, чего ты не делал: другие работали, а ты входил в их дело.
39 Ex civitate autem illa multi crediderunt in eum Samaritanorum, propter verbum mulieris testimonium perhibentis : Quia dixit mihi omnia quæcumque feci.

39 Many of the Samaritans of that town began to believe in him because of the word of the woman who testified, "He told me everything I have done."

39 И из того города многие самаряне уверовали в Него по слову женщины-свидетельницы: потому что Он рассказал мне все, что я сделала.
40 Cum venissent ergo ad illum Samaritani, rogaverunt eum ut ibi maneret.

42 And they said to the woman, We no longer believe because of what you say; for we ourselves (we have heard for ourselves) have heard it and know that this is indeed the Saviour of the world.
42 И сказали женщине: потому что мы уже не верим из-за твоих речей, ибо мы сами слышали и знаем, что Он истинно Спаситель мира.
43 Post duos autem dies exiit inde, et abiit in Galilæam.44 Ipse enim Jesus testimonium perhibuit, quia propheta in sua patria honorem non habet.45 Cum ergo venisset in Galilæam, exceperunt eum Galilæi, cum omnia vidissent quæ fecerat Jerosolymis in die festo : et ipsi enim venerant ad diem festum.46 Venit ergo iterum in Cana Galilææ, ubi fecit aquam vinum.

43 And after two days he departed thence and went into Galilee. 44 For Jesus himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country. for they had also come to the feast. 46 He came therefore again to Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine.
43 After the two days, he left there for Galilee.
44 For Jesus himself testified that a prophet has no honour in his native place.
45 When he came into Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him, since they had seen all he had done in Jerusalem at the feast; for they themselves had gone to the feast.
46 Then he returned to Cana in Galilee, where he had made the water wine. [44] Ma Gesù stesso aveva dichiarato che un profeta non riceve onore nella sua patria.
[45] Quando però giunse in Galilea, i Galilei lo accolsero con gioia, poiché avevano visto tutto quello che aveva fatto a Gerusalemme durante la festa; anch'essi infatti erano andati alla festa.
43 А через два дня вышел оттуда и пошел в Галилею. 44 Ибо Сам Иисус засвидетельствовал, что пророк не имеет чести в своем отечестве, и сами пришли на праздник, 46 Потом снова пришел в Кану. Галилея, где он превратил воду в вино.
Et erat quidam regulus, cujus filius infirmabatur Capharnaum.47 Hic cum audisset quia Jesus adveniret a Judæa in Galilæam, abiit ad eum, et rogabat eum ut descenderet, et sanaret filium ejus : incipiebat enim mori.48 Dixit ergo Jesus ad eum : Nisi signa et prodigia videritis, non creditis.49 Dicit ad eum regulus : Domine, descende priusquam moriatur filius meus.50 Dicit ei Jesus : Vade, filius tuus vivit.

Now there was a royal official whose son was ill in Capernaum.
47 When he heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea, he went to him and asked him to come down and heal his son, who was near death.
48 Jesus said to him, "Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will not believe."
49 The royal official said to him, "Sir, come down before my child dies."
50 Jesus said to him, "You may go; your son will live."
И был у одного начальника, у которого сын был болен, в Капернауме. 47 Когда этот человек услышал, что Иисус идет из Иудеи в Галилею, он подошел к нему и просил его прийти и исцелить сына его, ибо он начал умирать. Тогда Иисус сказал ему: кроме знамений и если увидишь чудеса, ты не поверишь. 49 Начальник говорит ему: Господи, сойди, прежде чем умрет мой сын. 50 Иисус говорит ему: иди, твой сын жив.
Credidit homo sermoni quem dixit ei Jesus, et ibat.51 Jam autem eo descendente, servi occurrerunt ei, et nuntiaverunt dicentes quia filius ejus viveret.52 Interrogabat ergo horam ab eis in qua melius habuerit.

The man believed what Jesus said to him and left.
51 While he was on his way back, his slaves met him and told him that his boy would live.
52 He asked them when he began to recover.

Et dixerunt ei : Quia heri hora septima reliquit eum febris.53 Cognovit ergo pater, quia illa hora erat in qua dixit ei Jesus : Filius tuus vivit ; et credidit ipse et domus ejus tota.54 Hoc iterum secundum signum fecit Jesus, cum venisset a Judæa in Galilæam.

They told him, "The fever left him yesterday, about one in the afternoon."
53 The father realized that just at that time Jesus had said to him, "Your son will live," and he and his whole household came to believe.
54 (Now) this was the second sign Jesus did when he came to Galilee from Judea.
И сказали ему: потому что вчера в семь часов лихорадка оставила его. 53 Тогда отец узнал, что это был тот час, в который Иисус сказал ему: сын твой жив; и он поверил, и весь дом его. 54 Иисус сделал это еще раз, как второе знамение, когда пришел из Иудеи в Галилею.
